Concept of knowledge and its various dimensions

In a thought-provoking session, the recent Theory of Knowledge workshop conducted on 12th September’24 by in-house resource person Ms. Gargi Khurana in the school premises invited teachers to critically engage with the concept of knowledge and its various dimensions. The workshop encouraged deep reflection and exploration into the philosophical foundations of knowledge, focusing on its nature, scope, and limitations. Designed to challenge conventional thinking, the workshop engaged teachers in critical discussions around key questions such as "How do we know what we know?" and "What counts as knowledge?" Through interactive sessions, participants examined various ways of knowing—such as reason, intuition, language, and testimony. The workshop also emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary thinking, encouraging participants to connect ideas from diverse fields like science, history, language,etc.. Ms. Ahluwalia, renowned for her solution-focused strategies, captivated the attendees with her expertise. She has been actively involved in various MISSION: POSSIBLE projects that are currently running successfully in some of the best schools in North India. During the workshop, she shared valuable insights on:
