In a thought-provoking session, the recent Theory of Knowledge workshop conducted on 12th September’24 by in-house resource person Ms. Gargi Khurana in the school premises invited teachers to critically engage with the concept of knowledge and its various dimensions. The workshop encouraged deep reflection and exploration into the philosophical foundations of knowledge, focusing on its nature, scope, and limitations. Designed to challenge conventional thinking, the workshop engaged teachers in critical discussions around key questions such as "How do we know what we know?" and "What counts as knowledge?" Through interactive sessions, participants examined various ways of knowing—such as reason, intuition, language, and testimony. Importance of hand washing in maintaing hand hygiene

Keeping our hands clean is one of the most crucial steps in order to avoid spreading of germs and keeping healthy because hands are the most exposed part of one's body. A workshop was conducted on 9 July, 2024 at ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi by Mr. B. P. Singh of WELM Foundation on the importance of hand washing in maintaing hand hygiene.The children were also explained how bacteria spreads through our different sense organs. The workshop aimed at making children aware about different ways of washing hands and the importance of using soap or hand wash. A practical demo was also given for a better understanding of washing hands properly, to the children. The children enjoyed the session and learnt a valuable lesson through the workshop.
