Tour De Sanawar: Grade 9 Cyclists Pedal to Glory

The young cycling enthusiasts from ATS Valley School participated with great zeal in the Hero Cycles Tour De Sanawar event held on November 3, 2024. Competing in the Under-19 category, these spirited students showcased remarkable endurance and sportsmanship, earning certificates of appreciation for their efforts.

A special congratulations to Sarjas of Grade IX, who achieved an impressive 9th rank among the numerous participants in the event. Principal Ms. Nina Pandey congratulated all the participants for their hard work and commitment, expressing pride in their achievements.

ATS Valley School proudly announces that Ramanjot, a 7th-grade student, secured the 3rd position in the prestigious Twirls of Freedom 2024 competition, organized by Manav Rachna International School. ATS Valley School is proud to announce that Dhwani Kashyap and Yashika, both students of Grade IX, secured the second position in the Lippan Art category at the inter-school competition held at Mount Carmel, Zirakpur. ATS Valley School is thrilled to share the incredible achievements of its talented students at the recent Interschool Competition held at Shemrock School on 28th of August 2024.

🎨 *Japjot*a student of grade VIII secured the 1st position in the **Artful Advertising Challenge*, showcasing outstanding creativity and innovation.

ATS VALLEY SCHOOL OUTSHINES AT CHESS COMPETITION

The school is highly elated to announce that its student OJASVI of Grade VI showcased an excellent performance in the A. J. Saupin's Chess Tournament, hosted by Saupin's School, Mohali, and bagged 3rd position in Chess.
The school Principal, Ms. Nina Pandey greeted the winner for this glorious achievement.

Harmony showcase:

Singing involves not just vocal expression but also non-verbal cues like facial expressions and gestures. Hence, students of grade IX-X participated in ‘Solo and Duet’ singing using any musical instrument.

National Spell Bee 2022-23 Results

Date: 02nd October, 2023

We are pleased to announce the results of the National Spell Bee competition Final round held in the month of August. It gives us immense pleasure to share the outstanding achievements of our students:

1. Ayesha Verma - Grade 4 Secured 34th position in the National Spell Bee.

2. Shubhangi Garg - Grade 1 Secured 35th position in the National Spell Bee.

Indian Golf Union Tournament

IGU(Indian Golf Union), North Zone Amateur and sub-junior/ junior feeder tour 2024, organizes 12 matches in a year which are played in different courses in different cities of north India. A player who stays in the first five positions in a full tour qualifies for the main tour.

Tournament held on 5-6 October 2024 at AEPTA Meerut. he stood in 2nd position. The next tournament was held on 16-17 October 24. He stood first position. Right now he is in the top 5 positions and he has an opportunity to qualify for the main tour of IGU.

Skating Competition Success at St. Soldier International School, Mohali**

ATS Valley School students showcased their skills at the recently held skating competition at St. Soldier International School, Phase 7, Mohali. We are proud to announce the following achievements:

- *Shradha Singh (Grade 5)* secured the 1st position.
- *Hermeher Kaur (Grade 4)* secured the 3rd position.

Inter-School Competition held at Manav Rachna International School

The little ones of our school showcased their talent and enthusiasm at the Inter-School Competition held at Manav Rachna International School, Mohali on 21-8-24.
The children participated in various events like Folk Dance, Poem Recitation and Fireless Cooking , competing with students from other schools.

Mivaan Jain of grade 2 grabbed a ‘Special Mention’ in the Fireless Cooking competition.

“Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address’

Competitions play a significant role in motivating students to perform, excel and offer a lot more reward than just the winning prize. Students of ATS Valley School participated in conglomeration of events organised at Swami Vivekananda Millennium School, Pinjore as part of their Annual event- “Srijnodya.”
Mivaan of Grade 1A participated in the event named ‘Ad-Mad Act’ and secured the first position. Also, Vedant of Grade 1B won first position in ‘Super Chef’ event category.
Grade 2 students Mahira and Samreet also got first position in poem recitation and teaching of Swami Vivekananda, respectively. Rivan and Vishakha of Grade 3 participated in puppetry and “Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address’, respectively. Their performances also brought laurels to the school by winning the first prize.
In addition, the Aerobic Dance group of Grade 5 and individual folk dance performance of Hazel (Grade 5) also bagged first positions. Khushi and Kritika of Grade 7 took part in event named- ‘Contemporary conversation ‘and they also were awarded for their noteworthy presentation.
All the students performed with great zeal and made the school proud by winning prizes.

Tech Fest

Date: 1st September, 2023

In a remarkable showcase of talent and innovation, ATS Valley added another prestigious feather to its cap at the Tech Fest held at Aravali International School, Panchkula on September 1, 2023.

Among the standout participants, Japjot Singh from Grade 7 secured the first prize in the "Picturesque" category, demonstrating exceptional creativity and vision. Among the other students, Gobinddeep Singh, a Grade 6 student, shone bright with a compelling Tech Talk, Partha Pratim Manna and Bhavya Mittal in the "Weave the Web" competition, showcasing their skills in web development.

This Tech Fest not only highlighted the immense talent within ATS Valley but also celebrated the spirit of innovation and learning. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding performances!

“ATS Valley School outshines in skating competition”

Date: 08th October, 2023

Inter-school tournaments provide an excellent platform for honing competitive skills. These events allow participants to assess opponents, identify weaknesses, and refine their training strategies.
Manan of Grade 3 and Navpreet of Grade 6 of ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi has brought laurels to the school by their outstanding achievement in All India Multi-Sports Championship, held at St. Soldier International School, Phase 7, Mohali .
Manan bagged 2 gold medals in 7-9yrs –in line skating category and won a cash prize of two thousand rupees. Navpreet secured 2 gold medals in 11-14yrs –in line skating category. The Director Mrs Avneet Kaur Jauhar and the Principal, Mrs Neena Pandey congratulated the winners for their achievements and wished them good luck for the future endeavours.
